I’m Carlton Devereaux, a senior product designer with a background in Industrial Design, Human Factors, and UX strategy, and over a decade of experience designing complex, cross-platform systems.
 

I earned a BFA in Industrial Design from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, completed advanced training in UI/UX and Interaction Design at the University of California, San Diego, and hold a Master’s degree in UX Design. This foundation shapes how I approach product design, balancing human behavior, technical constraints, and long-term system thinking.
 

My work has centered on platform-level problems, consumer and enterprise experiences, and products that require clear judgment under ambiguity. I’m most engaged when the work demands tradeoffs, ownership, and decision-making, not just execution.

I value clarity over noise, principles over trends, and outcomes over artifacts. I aim to design experiences that scale thoughtfully and earn trust over time.
